I have noticed that the V-6 forum title " is for the discussion for V-6 Mustangs 1994 to the present"
So whatabout all of us pre 1996 stang owners who have V-6's? Lest you all forget Mustangs came with the V-6 in its present block form from 1983 (say GLX) till 1986 and then was re-introduced in 1994. why does everyone forget this bit of history?

We didnt forget . Weve discussed it many times . Weve thought about creating another forum for the pre 94 v-6 and straight 6 stangs , but we came to the conclusion that there is not enough interest to warrant another forum . It would not be good for us to create a forum and have someone ask a tech question and not get an answer for months because the forum does not have the traffic . We just figured that any v-6 questions could be handled by our current v-6 section . Well see about changing the title to include the other years in there as well .Hopefully this answers your question

Thank you for the quick reply. The 3.8 v-6 is based on the same block cars up to 98 used the same basic chassis. only the fuel delivery systems post the most difference. But it 's ok

well lets see "dewd" I personally have two (83 3.8/4.2 conv. 250hp and 1984 conv waiting for supercoupe transplant) 2 of my neighbors have 4 -eye mustangs and 2 of my freinds out of state have them.

whoa lil hostile there I meant no offense all im saying is we had liek 1! asd in single person with an 80's v6. but we had 1 and she had no problem posting in our 94-2004 section. why not make a sepereate section for the 2004 3.9 liter ???

The early 80 v6 and 5.0 was prolly one of my favorite if not favorite mustang, specially the GT in the goonies.

I met no offense no reason to get up like "oh we have them dumbass" i know they're out there just when they come in numbers below 10 or 5 or 2 Lol... whats the point of a sepereate section.

I apoligize didnt mean to come off like it was hostile. But for the sake of spreading information, most of the chassis will interchange 79 thru the sn94 as far as sixes go. I was not making a point of a separate forum, just pointing out the fact that the early 4-eye are the forgotton ones and they are left out of most sixer related forums .

It's nop problem but you are absolutly right on the forgettn part. they really are. I was suprised to see there was a 3.8 in the 80s and I was like O_O I should have bought that! they really look good. But it should be changed to ahetever 80 years they were made plus 94-2004

If you really think the 3,8 -4eye mustangs are forgtton,, try the V6 that was German made that was smaller
