Hi, I was considering buying a 87-93 5.0 V8 but here in Quebec ( Canada for the newbies lol ) there is a lot more affordable V6 94-95 than 87-93 5.0 , so I am really hesitating.. anyway, my question is about that V6 sound. Heard a few V8 and their great muscle sound so what about that V6 ?? does it sound more like a honda-toyota-chevy etc 4 banger or more like a V8, just to give me an idea, cause I dont know anybody who has one! thank you !

I have a '94 V6 with no mods. it sounds like a normal car. Pretty silent, maybe a cute lil noise when driving...

rip off the cats and it will blare, put on a sound muffler it will sound alright, it's a unique middle sound. but the 5.0 from thr 87-93 fox is defiently one of the better sound mustangs. I'd say save up for a good 87-93 5 spd 5.0. But if it's a daily driver and just looking to cruize around get the 94-95 v6 and throw on exhaust for the sound.
