Default Trying to pretty-up my Mustang

I'm trying to improve the apperance of my Mustang. I haven't started yet, and don't want my car to end up looking like a ricer.

It is pretty much a factory car, except for some red seat covers (added after the pic was taken) and a red gear knob.

http://pictures.1414productions.com/car.jpg

I was thinking about adding the classic "two white stripes" on the top but not sure about it. Does anyone have any suggestions?

(I'd also like to get another gear knob, the one I bought is terrible and always gets loose -_-)

WOOOHOO Thats a DAMN SEXY car!... I have one just like it

Anyways... Im looking at adding dark gray stripes... this color is the hardest to find a secondary to match it. If you get some one there be sure to post some pics, im still trying to decide on a color... Anyways, Nice Ride.

Hey Big J Studd , welcome to the forum . :thumbsup

Would a black insert in your hood scoop set your car off from all the others ? It`s all personal taste . Try doing an image search ( on like yahoo or google ) of your year mustang , maybe get some ideas there .

Thank you for all the kind replies.

http://www.graphic-express.com/z-josh_nadler.htm

I was thinking about getting La Mans stripes like these, except in black. (Like H3llAng3l said, hell to find a matching secondary - but the Mustang stripe is already in black so I would imagine it would be best to use the same colour).

Also thought about this:
http://www.graphic-express.com/ford_n512-s1_n514-s1.htm

The first and the second one (The claw, and then the claw/pony). Claw/pony is probably too much. I also thought about putting a number on the roof but a friend told me it was retarded, and it probably is too

These prices are a lot though, does anyone know a good site to buy from that won't charge me an arm and a leg? Or a site that has higher quality at the same price? (I don't mind paying as much as paying for second class merchandise)

Also, anyone know a good place to buy a new shifter knob? I have a manual transmission on my car so I'm really not sure

About the shifter knob... there are some pretty sweet ones at Autozone and Meijer (if you have a Meijer). I bought mine at Autozone, you have to watch the size tho. I bought mine to small so now I have to see if someone can get it to work for me. They are cheaper at Meijer for just about the same thing. Mine is red and when you plug it in to the cig. deal it lights up! I would send you a pic. but the sites not working. Anyway go to www.autozone.com , click shopping, search for shift knobs. Check 'em out!

If you can afford it, get 18 in wheels. It'll help fill up the wheel well. Lower your car, get a bullitt fuel cap, a Roush side exhaust kit, althought im a sucker for ghost flames.

It will decrease your rear end ratio, unless you go VERY low profile. And the lower profile you go the heavier the tire.

You can do it, but you should change your rear gears 1st.
