99+ is about 15 seconds.

The 99 makes 196hp stock.

ok he's asking about a 96 not a 99+. The 96-98's will run anywhere from about a 16.5-17.3 depending on if its a 5-speed or AOD and how good of a driver you are. I've got a 98 that last time i ran was running 15.6-15.7's. I just rebuilt the motor with ported heads, cam, long tubes, forged internals, and i'm adding a hefty shot of nitrous to it as well. I'm wanting to pop into the 13's this year.

After you do some mods you'll start to find out how bad our open ended 7.5's are. You'll want to upgrade to a t-lok or just do the 8.8 swap if your wanting a strong rear end.

headers do nothing, exhaust depends on diameter - could be faster or slower, the 3.73's could knock of a couple of 0.1s, clutch does nothing really . . . Huge tires slow acceleration.

I'd say low to mid 16s if it's a manual, At most, he's just knocked a couple of tenths off the OEM time.
