Default Everyone please give me your opinion

I am an audiophile. I love sound, and quite frankly sometimes it's more important to me than the way my car performs. My doors vibrate badly, as does my rear deck, under anything over -52dB .. which isn't very loud at all (on heavy bass selections). I'm pondering over whether or not to get Dynamat Extreme. The main reason that I'm even thinking of not doing it is weight increase affecting my car's performance. Sure, my car is a V6, but it still has the punch enough to keep up with (if not beat) most cars around my area.... and guess what? I don't want to lose this punch. If you were me, would you invest or not?

This may not work but it did for me. I had 2 12's in my old explorer and after a while everthing started to rattle. The rear hatch, doors, rear side molding... I took small folded up pieces of paper and tucked them in between the moldings and the metal. I turned the sounds on and pushed against the molding to find where the sound was at and tucked acordingly. I too hate rattles it makes the whole system sound like garbage. I the Dynomat doesn't cost too much and you can figue out how much in wieght you are going to add, just decide how bad the rattles bother you. Also isn't that stuff pretty pricey? Good luck with your rattle stang. LOL

on ebay i can get a bulk pack (36 sq ft) of dynamat extreme for 120.90 (including shipping) which is about 130 bucks cheaper than msrp. installation is no problem, and the bulk pack will be all the dynamat i'll ever need.... the vibrations bother me pretty badly.... with no bass turned on it sounds terrible, but with bass all that i can say is my speakers are almost a complete waste of money, and i don't dream of getting a 4-channel amp to push them if all i'm gonna hear is blummmmmmmmmmmp from the doors....
