Default Quick Question

Hey guys i currently got another thread going but i had a quick question. I just got my 2001 mustang v6 and the lady that sold it to me said it had traction control. Well ive been reading alot of threads and have stumbled across that alot of you fellow mustang owners can turn off your traction control. I was wondering if i was overlooking a switch or is a gt exclusive option or maybe my car just does not have it at all. Thanks for the advice

It's alright man I couldn't find my trunk switch (glove Compt) until 3 months after I bought my car. Wasn't really looking for it (just used my keys) But I was surpirsed when I found it haha.

Yes it is a 2001 v6 auto. I cannot find it still and ive looked everywhere inside the car (glove box, all over interior.) i guess it isint there but i still dono. But i dont know if i want in permanently off. Maybe it is better to just leave it alone and keep traction control on.

It's pretty clearly labelled. DO you have your owners manual?

It sounds like you don't have the option.

I wouldn't worry about it . . .

I have no Traction control - and I don't find a need for it.

Like in snow it stops your wheel from spinning - which can be wose if you're on a hill - You can take your foot off the gas and grab the same effect and take control fo situation better. I think it's there because people don't know how to take their foot off the gas when sliding or slipping and when to apply gas to get out of the situation or down shift to slow down the car.

Can look there It's the middle switch on the lowest teer in the center console.

If you dont have that I would think it be on the left side of the steering wheel over the Vent
