I was curious about tuning the 05 mustangs.
Dyno tunes and tuners such as the xcaliber are they sort of the same thing or if you do one you can do the other still and still increase performance?
And when would the best time to tune your car? like before mods or after every single mod you get do you have to retune it? does tuning bring out the horsepower from a mod such as if you put a mod on you will have the same hp but when you tune it will it increase or increase over what it is supposed to make in hp such as make it an even better mod

I've got an 05 V6 auto. I bought a SCT X-Cal2 and love it...I'm running a 93 Octane tune...I have not had a dyno/custom tune yet. I can tell you though just a standard kind of tune from the X-Cal2 made a world of difference in my car! No more torque limiter in 1st gear, greatly improved throttle response and a lot better shifting (it was actully pretty good stock but now it's really nice!) From a dead stop I could barely make the small stock tires squwak... Not I can spin my big 265/60/16s! I've got a few more mods to do and then I'll probably take it in for a dyno/custom tune...
