Default help with front brakes on a 2001 v6

Hi, tomorrow I am going to be replacing the front brakes on my wifes 2001 mustang and not sure how to compress the pistons. Is there a how to on this. Is there any important steps i should take so I don't damage the master cylinder?? any help would be great. thanks, jason
