Default Caliper Color

I've got a silver V6 pony with the silver 2000 GT wheels on it. I'm going to paint the Calipers on it. What would be a good color with the silver car? Or should i just go with the basic red or yellow? Also, any suggestions for painting? I was just going to use spray paint...Thanks

I can't think of any color that wouldn't go with silver. Purple would make it great KSU wildcat parade car!

you need high temp caliper paint.

Red or black would like bad ass... yellow would look like crap. I need to paint mine too and put the decals on! I found caliper paint at Napa.

What all is involved in paintint your calipers? I'd like to paint mine eventually, but if you have to like, take the brakes apart to do it, then I'm not so sure...

I'm not sure either...I was hoping the instructions on the can of paint would tell you...I don't think you have to take anything apart though...

Auto Zone has a kit for painting calipers. It is a brush on and doesn't require any disassembly. You get a halfpint of paint, caliper cleaner(spray can),paint brush(cheapie),tape(didn't use). The paint seems good quality and I put on two coats with lotta paint left over. Go easy with the caliper cleaner though and u will have enough to do all 4 wheels. I bought red for my black 05 with red interior and it looks good to me. Saw a Silver Porche with red calipers and it looked good.
