Default Need help with my 2001 Mustang

well i am going to start with I am a female and not so bright..lol.. i own a 2001 mustang, nothing special about it. When I go to take off, it sputters alot, and its like it hesitates to go. Jerking so to say. Going up a hill, it gets worse from time to time. But sitting still, doesnt seem to have a problem. I have recently changed the spark plugs and wire, gave a fuel treatment and replaced the air filter, if anyone could send me any information about such a problem, I would definitly appreciate it very much. email is a_shonna_20@hotmail.com Thanks again guys~! Have a good one~!

Sounds like you need to clean your MAF.

Or have your fuel filter checked. Most likely it's clogged. Also stay away from filling up at stations not affiliated with oil companies (Shell/Texaco, Phillips 66, etc.). Their gas tends to have more water content and can mess up your engine and gas tank.

Sometimes a air leak between the MAF and throttle body will cause similar problems. I would check the clamp which seals the air inlet to the throttle body.
