I have no idea what you're referring to, could you elaborate?

Here I will save you money and time you can pick up resistors at Radio shack if you want to test it.

Temps and Numbers:
At 104°f the sensor has 16.15K ohms resistance
At 86°f the sensor has 24.27K ohms resistance
At 68°f the sensor has 37.30K ohms resistance
At 50°f the sensor has 58.75K ohms resistance
At 32°f the sensor has almost 100K ohms resistance

Each 10K ohms resistance = ~20° cooler.

You can really harm the engine with those chips, and you won't get 20+ hp, guaranteed.

I was not recomending them. I was just suggesting that if they want to try this. They could buy a resistor at Radio Shack far cheaper for the same effects. Using the resistor will fool the computer into thinking the outside temp is cooler, causing the computer to changing engine timing and fuel/air mixture.

If the computer thinks the outside temp is cooler, and it really isn't, can't that cause some major heating problems??

Do you believe everything a salesman tells you?

it won't cause overheating because of misread outside temps, but it can throw off the timing and diagnosis of the ignition and computer, which can devastate the EMS, causing engine pinging, and an early death.

It's better to remap the computer software and allow the computer to work with the correct facts.

Talking Mustang intake chip

You half to watch out for those chips, Because on the older mustangs
the Intake Temp Sensor is in the intake tube that goes to the throttle body.
On newer mustang the Intake Temp Sensor is built in with the Mass Air Flow Sensor. I bought one off the internet but it is made for the old style mustang not the new ones. I HAVE IT FOR SALE I paid $26.00 plus s&h I will sell it for $20.00 plus s&h. Its new and still in the package.
What those chips do is The Air Temp Sensor measures the temp of the air,
the colder the air is the computer with richen the air/fuel mixture up. That chip tricks the computer telling it that the air temp is alot cooler than it really is in which the computer will richen up your air fuel mixture up. More fuel mor power.
