Default Urathane vs Fiberglass body parts

Whats the story here? Im going to guess Urathane is the better of the two going off the old saying you get what you pay for but are fiberglass kits a total waste? Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this and if the extra cost of urathane is a must or a luxary.

Urethane is flexible and durable. Fiberglass is brittle.
