Default 1999 V6 coupe with 140 k...

ok my family is friends with the people that own the pool place in my home town.

anyway they have a 1999 or a 2000 V6 coupe with 140 k

they bought it used and have done alot of work to it to fix it up

well today my dad was at the pool place and asked the owner if i could go for a ride in it some day she said sure, and she even offered to sell it to me appariently. and im sure i would get a great deal for it, if i get to the next stage in this ill put up some numbers

they just had it painted so it looks very pretty.

my father is very uneasy about the high mileage and i am too,

im just wondering.. should i pick it up? or at least look at it as an option?

the 1999-2000 V6 coupe is the mustang that i have been saving up for, and a bit harder to find that i thought at first

oh yes i almost forgot, I live in VT but the car was origionaly from RI
and stored durring the winters

any help would be greatly apprecieated

The engine and tranny are duty rated for 200,000 miles. so that leaves you w/ only 50-60,000 miles, or more depending on highway vs. city driving, etc.

You can get the car, but plan on having 1-4,000 in the bank to do an overhaul, or buy a replacement engine & transmission.

If the body's ok, and it's market value or less, it can be a good car.

i just checked the car out

i couldn't talk to the owner because she was bussy.

anyway, the outside is beautiful, dare i say perfact. its gold with black racing strips..

its a manual

and the inside is in very good condition also...

i know for a fact that all the work on it was professionsaly done also.

withen a few days ill go for a ride in it and then see if i can get a price on it.
