Default Gem?

My owners manual says that fuse # 7 controls the interior lights and GEM.

What is GEM?

I have a 2002 convertible.
I need to take out this fuse because the light won't shut off.

Thanks.

GEM is a type of mineral usual found and traded to jewlery dealers which then gets cut down, or traded for other items. They are a good market for international trade and I wouldn't recommend taking them out of your car....in other words I don't know.
