Question A Good Source for GT Take Off Parts??

Does anyone have a good source for GT Take Off Parts?

I need exhaust, rear bumper cover, and sway bars. I prefer it to be local shop here in southern cal. There is a place called FiveO Motorsports that seems to have pretty good prices, but everything I want they are out of stock on.

I have found a couple others that have one or two items.

I really want to buy it all together to save on shipping and get quality parts.

Thanks
Glen

My source was Saleen, check with them. They did have a show, and side walk sale yesturday so they may be a little short on take off parts.

I'll give another nod to Saleen. My only "complaint" with them was the shipping charge, but I can understand it...Saleen's in California, I'm in Maryland. So of course it'll be a little high.

I bought my Bullitt wheels/tires combo from them back in May '01.

Somewhere, I heard California Mustang does take-off parts too. I might have to double-check that though.

Thanks IIGood! I really appreciate any help on this.

I have been calling around the country trying to find take off parts for my 2000 V6. In particular, I am having a hard time trying to locate a GT rear bumper cover in lazer red for my project car.

First I had contacted FiveOMotorsports. They said no problem on the exhaust and rear bumper cover. Then half way to their shop an hour away, I get a call on my cell phone that says NO on the bumper cover. Nice enough guy, but not on top of things to much.

Then I called Mustang Parts Specialties. They say they have them, but they will not allow me to specify which color or what kind of condition. They will just ship it out and I get what I get. I told them this was for a project car article we will be doing here on AFM, but they refused to take 5 minutes and go look. Real helpful people.

Then I called Bumpers.com and they say they have them, but they are $30 ($197) more then their website price and that is high already. Plus a $20 handling fee??? and $103 for shipping. Then they say they are blemished and the paint may not match because they are blems from Ford. But they looked and think it will?? No thanks.

I am taking note on all my contacts and will write about them in the article.

So my next step it to check out the local salvage yards to see what they may have.

I must have a bumper cover, because my car was hit a couple weeks ago and I got the insurance money to get it fixed, and that is how I'm paying for all the mods.

Anyone got any other idea's? I'm going to call Saleen on monday and see what they got.
