Well the reason im here is because i own a 2000 V6 Mustang Convertable:
- Valves-12,OHV
Horsepower - 190 @ 5250 rpm
Torque - 220 @ 2750 rpm
Displacement - 3.8L
Bore x Stroke(in.) - 3.81 x 3.40
Compression Ratio - 9.36:1

and... my friend has the 2005 Mazda 3 with the sports package,
I dont know much about the mazda other then i believe its a 4 cyl with 2.3L engine and 160 HP

Now, will someone PLEASE tell me which car is faster/would win in a race.

your car is heavy, so If you have an auto, and he has a manual, he may very well beat you. If you had a coupe it'd be a no brainer . . .

It would also depend on how good you both are as drivers. You could have a car which would obviously win based on HP and torque alone, but if that driver isn't good at shifting - he misses 2nd gear consistently for example, then the challenger has quite an advantage.

The best way to find out which car will win is to go out and see!! Then you can analyze who won and why.

yeah, you still have 600 more lbs and around 40 more hp. That's 15 lbs/hp the extra 40 has to carry around.

I can't say who would win.
