Hay here I can prove once and for all that the new 3.8 Liter V6 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT's can be beat by a 3.9 Liter V6 Mustang...

Oh, before I continue, I have found that the 3.9 Liter puts down to the ground 2-3 hp more at the rear wheels and 2-3 lb-ft of torque... No dyno results in computer form though, sorry don't have a scanner...

But here go to this website and you will see that the new 3.8 Liter Mitsu... Eclipse GT's do 0-60 in 6.7 secs... with the 3.8 and 3.9 Liter Mustang V6 engines with either auto doing 7.5 secs for the 3.9 or 7.6 secs for the 3.8 in 0-60 time or the manuals doing 7.2 to 7.1 secs then it looks like it in our class. Oh and according to intellichoice the V6 mustang is a 'base sports car' and the GT is a 'sports car', well the Mitsu... Eclipse GT is a 'base sports car'... go figure...

I was just wondering, What mods would you have to do to a 3.9 Liter to get it to 6.3 Secs 0-60...

Check out this site, above... They have an excellent review of the mustang v6 cool... but its with the 190 hp 220 tq that the 2001 had not my 04...
