Thumbs up my kid is seven weeks old and here's my experience with the car seat

So, finally I had a kid and he is 7 weeks old now. I wanted to let everyone know of my experience with the car seat. Yes, you can put a car seat in the Mustang and it CAN be rear facing. I have a Graco car seat and have used the LATCH system. I drive a 2003 so this should be fine for 99-04 if they all have the LATCH system. Here are the draw backs-You have to push the passenger seat all the way forward making it useless for anyone to sit in. You also have to make sure the car seat handle is all the way down or else the passenger side seat back part won't click in. Now I usually have my drivers side all the way back but was able to bear with it up a little closer to the steering wheel so that my wife was able to sit behind me.

Hope this info is helpful. Oh and BTW, front facing is usually not an issue in the Mustang. The only reason the rear facing has been questionable is due to the fact that the front seats in the Mustang angle back thus taking up room.

Congradulations...

If I had kids (singular or plural) I would get a darn Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V and take and drive my sports car only on the days when mother/babysitter would have the kids and I, daddy, would be having a ball... But on the other days, Sports Sedan here we are day care...

We have a Nissan Murano....the kid will only be in the car for possible pick ups from day care when he starts going. We had him in there the other day only because the Murano was getting its maintenence service. You definitely don't want to be driving a Mustang if you have to have the kid in it all the time!!
