Question HELP - Pioneer NavTraffic (GEX-P10XMT)

Hello, I have the Avic-N2 (GPS) already installed, and am now installing Pioneers GEX-P10XMT NavTrafffic system. I have a 2000 mustang convertible. i am installing this unit myself. I have already placed the unit under the passengers seat and ran the power wire/ground wire/ and wire to the head unit into the leg room where they are now loose. Now, I know where I am going to ground it. I know how to hook it to the head unit. I need to know where I can attach the 2Amp (Yellow) wire to power the NavTraffic unit. I do see a yellow wire which was used to power the ipod interface adapter which i also have installed. Can I cut that and tape them all together and call it a day? Please get back to me as to the best way to do this. I would really appreciate it.
Jon
