hey guys i just bought a 1999 blue convertible mustang i need some help to get started on modding it up. any sugestions??

What's your goal, and what are you willig to spend to get it there?

iam not sure what it has i see that it has an intake and stuff but. i dont even know what hp iam runnign. its a 1999 convertible il post up pics later on. but i need to get new headlights were can i find the best ones at a good price? iam new to the mustang thing you know. i just want 2 add a bit of speed to it. thanks for the help

We'll need a pic of that intake, your crank pulley, and a description of your exhaust, for starters . . .

i will get some pictures here maybe tomorw but how much horse poser does a 1999 v6 stock have? some one told me it was 160 but i dont kknow. do you know?

190 hp 220-5 torque.

2001 received some updates, like a windage tray, and different intake mods that pushed it up to 193. 2003/4 received some more updates that netted a couple more hp . . . 04's got a bit more displacement.

No it's always been the Essex Block. -You could put 1983 heads on it if you want.

In 1997 (on the 4.2L) they greatly improved the heads, in 1999 all the 3.8s got the 4.2L heads, in 2001, they reinforced the block, and did a little more head work to improve torque, in 2003 they made some other changes, which I can no longer remember.
