I have the same codes on my '96. I've had a mechanic diagnos this as a leak in my upper and lower intake. This would require some work to pull the thing and re-gasket. The car runs fine otherwise. For about 3 weeks, without my having done a thing, the CEL went out and and stayed out until on a hard acceleration 2 days ago it came back on, same codes. I haven't pulled the intake yet, my '
stang gets a power pack when it comes out of storage next spring and then I'll do that work. Just don't want to pull the top off twice [not in the budget] and I'm only offering this as an answer for you based on what my mechanic said, 'cause I was in the dark until then myself. Tell ya what though, I'm gonna put a new gasket under the Plennum and see if it does the trick. I'll let ya know!
