Default To Trade Or Not To Trade

i have a chance to trade my 2000 5 speed 3.8 with 56k on it for a 1998 5 speed gt with 95k....what do yall think

Well theres both pros and cons...theres more milage on the 98 but its a GT plus your going down 2 years but the GT is faster so its hard choice my opnion would be to keep yours and add mods....but itd be better if you got other peoples opinons hope that helps...good luck

Well you have 190-200 HP... the 98 GT has 215 HP.... so you can very easily get your car to that level... Plus you have less miles on your car.... Keep the 2000....

If the GT were the same model year or newer and mileage on the GT were closer to yours (and the possible increase in insurance weren't going to be too big a hit in your case - depends on age, driving record, etc.) then I would say go for it. However, with the GT being older than yours, higher in mileage and not that much higher in horsepower, plus the fact that there is a very good chance that the GT has been hotrodded into the ground, I would agree with Kmagn13, keep your V6 - you know how well it runs, how dependable it is, etc. If you really want a GT, look for a better/newer/lower mileage one.
