Start lightening. -Replace rear quarters with plastic, skin your doors, roof and fenders with carbon fiber, carbon fiber hood. Paint em so they look OEM. Swap your k-member,

Invest in headers and a port matched Throttle Body & 70+mm MAF from a lightning.

Port your upper and lower intakes

put a plenum spacer between upper and lower intakes.

Stage 3 on heads.

That should keep you occupied for a few months . . . . ..

Forged does sound nice, but if Iam going to invest might as well get a V8, I have an older 331 cid that came out of my Cougar.

Waiting on Kmember till I decide on a final engine choice.

By any chance does any one know of somebody make a sheet metal upper intake for the split port

No juice, to hard on engine

Keep those ideas coming....

what year car do you have?

You can also pick up some corbeau A4 seats and drop 30-40 lbs, rear seat delete, and trunk mount your battery.

There is no forged 4.2L crank -only the 3.8L SC crank which can be machined to work.

If you're willing to open up the engine, you can definitely run forged pistons and rods . .. but you've already got a cam . . .

Supersix makes a sheetmetal intake, called the SSX -you didn't see it in the catalogue?
