Default shaker hood for 3.8

Where can I find a shaker hood for my 96' 3.8? Would this be a functional mods to increase hp? Thanks

Common consensus is that Ram air and shakers are NOT power adders

yeah, but the six will actually shake

Pushrod engines shake more than SOHC or DOHC.

I'm going to market a set of engine mount replacments manufactured with worn out engine mount components to remedy the non-shaking engine problem.

Not a power adder but I don't think anyone makes one fore the 94-98 v6 engine.

Banshee Performance used to have on but since closed production, I can't get a hold of them anymore they were willing to send parts to fabricate your own functional ram air. but if you can find their contacts, im sure they'll be more than happy to extend that laurel if they still have parts.

I dunno if the CDC one works on 94-98 if anyone can confirm that it can that'd be great. I think they changed the upper intake manifold on the 2000+ but everything else should be around the same. hoods different though :\.

can cut your own hole. there is a how to i think around the web where they put one on a old fox 5.0 not that that's really relevent but they show how to cut the hood.

good luck

yeah, you'll just need to space the intake on the manifold. it will sit too low with the brackets it comes with.
