Default NEED something to drive now, new to site, what do you all think of this deal

There is a red v6 mustang, 1998 with 71k for sale in my area. It has chrome cobra wheels (17's) and it a 5 speed. It also has a chrome flowmaster dual exhaust setup. The guy is asking 3000 cash for it. What do you all think? I haven't driven it yet, but he lives about 5 miles away and assures me that there is absolutely nothing wrong with the vehicle.

I bought my 98 v6, with 25,000 miles on it (bone stock) for $7,500... so you can use that to compare.

Hey gtboiii, Do you have something else to drive up here in the Winter? I know we are both in the snowband and driving a Mustang is murder. I store mine.....

Mines an auto, it rides well, I enjoy the car don't get me wrong, just can't be tempted to race because 40% of the vehicles on the road can take my car...

it could be a fast car... any car could be a fast car... With some work you would be able to keep up with a 99-04 V6

40% of the cars on the road are old civics, corollas, and cavaliers. -you can take those.

Keep your perspective.

It's the 10-20% you want to compete with that are giving you fits.

Would you rather have a 98 civic ex?

Lol so true, ok then, 20% of the cars on the road are fater, so at a 4 way stop one of the four is going to blow you away , while the civic and camry are going to stare.
