Go to the manufacturers' websites and listen to teh clips.

It's all preference, there's no real performance difference.

The most cost effective is going to be a GT takeoff system.

It's a matter of preference, what may sound good to me or kscoyote might not sound good to you, thats he's suggesting that you visit the manufacturer's website and listen for yourself.

Are you after a particular sound or are you after a bit more power? If power is the answer , then I would look at a kit consisting of a catback, a Cold Air Intake and an SCT X-Cal tune. That combination installed on an 06 picked up about 37 HP.
We recently installed one and the gain poved itself on the dyno.

I have an of V6 and right ater I bought the car I purchased flomaster 40 dual exhaust. The sound is extremely LOUD and bassy, but thats just how i like it. EVERYONE knows its me when i come up the street, and the sound when u step on it is amazing. I suggest this if you like your stang loud...annoying on long boring trips though. Hope this helps.

its all based on what sound your looking for... As long as its dual exhaust, you will get the same Hp gains... but the rest depends on the sound your looking for...
