Yes they were unfortunately..... They were recalled, but it's too late now. Call a junk yard for a 94 or 95 V6 RWD to swap.

Should have been covered by recall, but the original owner probably never took it in.

You'll need Corteco gaskets or better to fix 'em for good. Morana sells a set that qualify for overkill, but you will never have a gasket problem again.
