Default my plans for spring , summer and fall

ok i thought deeply about this and heres what i want on my mustang and plan to do this year, money situation is tight right now so its gonna take me three season to nearly complete it. As i rounded out the prices of everything but heres how im setting it up....

From now and spring im gonna work on the look of my stang plus ad a few bolt on's = Cobra R front bumper(have it primed and ready to paint), Gt rear bumper with exhuast grooves, dont care for side skirts, Window tint , 17x9black fr500's wheels in the front and 17x10.5 deep dish black fr500's for the rear, Smoked head lights w/ amber in the corner , Blacked out tail lights. As for bolt ons 'im gonna loose the k&N drop in and throw a Demolet Cold air intake on plus add a UDP kit.... Thats a good 2k$ right there.

I thought about the power I want out of my mustang and I wana be around the 350ish h/p range so I thought about this to work on from summer till winter... I like what I see from SSM and read good reviews about them so I think ima go with http://www.supersixmotorsports.com/p...2PowerPaks.pdf
stage 3 plus the installation kit and BBK 65mm throttle body. Dont know if I want the roller rockers (would it be worth the extra 450$ ??). IM going with the stage three becuase im gonna run nitrous untill I can afford a S/C,Also Im gonna throw some ceramic shorty headers on but them are my plans for this year... any thoughts and output on that would be great !!!

Those rockers are worth an easy 10-15 hp. They will also give you better valvetrain stability when you are turning the 6500 rpms it takes to get to the 350 hp the stage 3 kit offers. Which is also why you need a forged bottom end if you really want the stage 3 kit.

as for the forged bottom end, I am in the progress of replacing my bottom end for the SC.

I have a forged crank from a Supercoupe, Forged H-Beam rods, and some Forged Pistons also. My plan is to make my bottom end invincable so I will never have to pull the motor. for awile at least.

I know SuperSix also sells good forged internal kits.

call them and tell them what you want to do... they will discuss what you will want and need.

be prepaired to talk about what you want to get out of your motor.

call....

DELK
RPM
SuperSix

they all will give you good info and good prices also.

Great, I've been waiting for anyone to talk about the SSM power packs. Depending on my tax refund, I have almost identical plans for my '95 auto. trans. convert. with the exception of big horses/I just want a stage 2 [with new lifters and push-rods added to the mix]. That set-up is supposed add another 75 horses. I love my pony, but that stock set-up they put in there can be replaced with a sewing machine motor. Looking forward to seeing your progress and learning from your effert.

My Son is having SSX build a motor with forged internals. Total cost will be around 7k. Total TQ will be somewhere around 240 at the wheels before the SC. Big bucks, but worth it if you're going with a power adder like he is. I'm still in the learning stage when it comes down to the nitty gritty of engine building. But I'm learning from a great guy......
