And one other that just occured to me. I have a stage3 racing clutch that I put in about 500 miles before my tranny blew out. Can I put this clutch into the T56 or am I out of luck? |
for road race street applications, you might find the six superior -it's what the chassis was designed for.
look at where teh cylinder heads are in relation to the strut towers, then look at a 4.6L.
the engine only weighs 300 lbs and is almost completely behind the axle. the entire vehicle is 400+ lbs lighter than the 4.6L cars.
and engine replacement is a LOT cheaper, and the ability to work on the car is a LOT easier with plenty of room.
Tom Morana Racing Engines has a 24 year history of building fast sixes.
Super Six Motorsports also has some excellent packages.
