Question Volant Cold Air Intake for Mustang V6 (96-02). Any info or opinions on this CAI?

Cost more then the K&N and its plastic:

Quote:
Volant Cold Air Intake - For 96-02 V6
Part #: 19638C

volant-cold-air-intake-mustang-v6-96-02-any-info-opinions-cai-volant_v6_mustang_cold_air_intake.jpg

Volant is the king of air intakes, with both looks and performance. Replaces restrictive factory intake components with high-flow ducting and a washable, high-flow air filter element. Includes a cold air box that seals the filter off from hot, low energy, underhood air for maximum performance. Creates more power and allows engine to run more efficiently.
  • Cool Air Box Only Pulls In Cool Outside Air!
  • Made From Heavy Duty Ethelyn Plastic!
  • Plastic Tube Insulates Incoming Air From Engine Heat!
  • Molded To Exact Specifications For A Superb Fit!
  • One Year Warranty
Fits 1996-2002 3.8L V6 Mustang
Price $277.00

yeah, it's good, but expensive.

Best bang for the buck is DeMolet, but that's a nicer looking piece.

The thing I love about DeMolet is the green filter.

It could go well with my white/black/green color theme for my pony.

What's the deal with a tunable CAI?
