A friend of mine what to race a 1/4 mile vs my Stang, hes always telling that his car its faster than mine. but I dont think so...

He has a Grand Prix SE complety stock,

my stang its a 1999, has CAI, rigth now Im installing the T-lock & 4.10 and the MAC shorty headers, also I have dual exhaust, yesterday I change the motor oil to Mobil 1 full synthetic , fuel filter, I think that´s all

His car looks heavy...I think I can get him, but I dont know...I only have race to a V6 1997 and 1995 mustang and I win 3 of 3

This is the info I got:

Grand Prix SE comes standard with the trusty 3.1-liter V6 with an aluminum cylinder head. It has been massaged for 2000, resulting in more power and better fuel economy. It now produces 175 horsepower and 195 foot-pounds of torque.

What I know about my stang its that have like 190 HP and 220 torque or Im wrong?

It weighs 500 lbs more.

Yeah, you should be fine..... My Brother has an '02 Grand Prix, and it is slow in comparison to mine.

a tune? Do you mean like use a XC2 or some tuner like that? I dont know a lot about it, with the mods that I have do you think its really necesary? coz maybe I´ll stay right there for know I dont have more money for now

BTW I was trying to change my gas filter but I cant it has 2 brackets that I take it off but I was really hard and I was scared coz I dont wanna broke a line do I have to take off anything else?
