why not? i know people with 18psi on thier thunder bird...
Boost is a measurement of restriction not of power ,at 18 Psi if you can keep the intake temps down you can make some serious power though.

i was looking at motive gear's 3.45 gears, how much of a difference would that make over the stock 3.27's?
figure 0.5 seconds per 1/4 turn to 60.

I would not spend the money on the 3.45's... since you will have to get a programmer also... another $300-$400... its not really worth it to go to 3.45's.
Someone is working on a mount for a 122 Eaton on a split port , If this works the KB for the V8 guys may work .
