i was wondering if any of u guys have the 13" cobra brake conversion kit from Americanmuscle.com. i was also wondering if i will notice a big difference in braking and also if i need to have bigger wheels. i currently have the stock 16 inch wheels. any help would be appreciated.

You would need to get 17" rims to clear the calipers .

yea you need 17 inch wheels. you can probably pick up a set cheap from ebay or something. i just scored a set of 01 cobras for 400 bucks with tires. also check out www.buyfordracing.com their kits are cheaper than american muscle.

ive heard good things about EBC brake pads too. you could also upgrade the rear brakes to cobra specs without changing your wheels.
i personally like the way the cars with pbr calipers stop.

Biggest effect will come from using stainless brake lines.

You already have a set of PBRs. They come OEM. THey're an upgrade over the Fox brakes, but they're not generally the ones used in an upgrade over your calipers.
The Cobra kit is also PBR based, but it's the line they use on Holdens, F-bodies, and the Cobra.

and do i need to get stainless steel brake lines for the back too or is the front good enough?
