Default Side Exhaust Vs. X Or H Pipes!!!

MY QUESTION IS WHETHER THE X OR H PIPES GIVE ME THE SAME HP AS THE SIDE EXHAUST SYS. WHICH ONE WILL I GAIN MORE HP WITH?

i'll say it again even if it sparks a huge debate. x pipes will always give you more power. they just do.. dont ask me why but its been proven and i've seen it with my own two eyes on a dyno. im sure it has something to do with flow characteristics but i couldnt give you a mathematical or physical breakdown of it. as far as the side exhaust goes.. they only one i know of that doesnt make you lose potential power is the one from steeda. hope that helps

OK here comes the debate..lol Actually dyno test have proved on these even firing motors X's or H's don't add any hp or tq. They do help mellow the popping sound but that's all.

yep... here we go lol. for some reason i am always the one to ruffle peoples feathers on this topic haha.. all i can say is, i have seen the difference of the two on my car personally so there is your proof that they do make a difference and that there are small(but noticeable if you have a dynometer) gains between an h and x pipe. the x will give you more power. i have seen it with my own 2 eyes but somehow there is always somebody who has an argument to my proof haha. the people that tell all of us consumers that buy parts for our cars that there is no difference between the two are usually the companies that make shiitty exhaust products. end of story.. please dont respond to this post raz.. just go away damn you!!! LOL

OK , I won't...but, the dyno results I saw wasn't from an exhaust company, it was a friends car.

Cobra9898. Don't worry, I'm not going to start an argument over it plus as you probably know not every engine responds the same way so I believe you. In fact I was surprised his didn't myself. It was the dyno operator that told him the even firing is why.

lol... it does not add any more power... The X or H or header back... they all do the same... the H pipes help with the firing order...

Steeda and SpinTech. Spin tech has the highest dyno of all of 'em.

The difference is so slight, that it's meaningless. Atmospheric conditions or the state of the engine could make the difference.
