Default Is there such, .......... V6-GT?

I thought I read a thread on the tech.-side about this, but can't remember where.
I possiably missunderstood the reply.
In 1995, were the GT's and the V6's all the same car? Just the drivetrain difference?

Not sure if your talking about when we were comparing the 4.0 V6s to the older model GTs. We came to a conclusion that it would be a drivers race between certain 99 and under GTs and the 2005 model V6 Stang. Heres a chart to help you out as it did for me. Keep in mind the 4.0 V6s have 210 HP. (thats not rwhp)

Not quite, almost. There are a few differences:
Except for a few diffs in the interior, options like the fog lamps and the spoiler weren't standard on the V6.
Where it had the usual MacPherson struts and stabilizer bar at the front, the GT had higher rate components. At the back, the GT had horizontally mounted axle dampers, where the V6 didn't. Usually the V6s are a softer ride than the V8s because of the more sports-tuned suspension, but the diffs are evident in tight corners...believe me!
The GT also had a 'Traction-Lok' axle which helped with hard pullaways. 15" wheels were standard on the V6 with 16" on the GT.
For the rest the body and suspension remained pretty much the same.
In short, if you were to put a 5.0 in a V6 body, you'd see why some of the diffs were used

the chassis is the same. in 1994 and 1995, both cars received sway bars & strut tower braces . The sway bars were of a different diameter.

in 1996 v6 cars got neither the brace nor the rear sway bar.

in 1999 they got the same brakes. and in 2001 they got the same transmission.

the rear ends were always different.

the v6 has the pre-87 GT/SVO 7.5" rear with no quad shocks

Suspension has always been different because of the weight difference.
