I would *guess* the Grand Prix would beat you. The supercharger will give him a bunch more torque.
In fact, I would guess it would be "bad".
I copied this about the 2000 Mustang: The base model sported a V6 engine that was 3.8 liter with a powerful 190 horsepower for a base model. This is more powerful than the year before and just what consumers were looking for, more power at the same affordable price. The base coupe model started off at $16,520 and the convertible at $21,370.
I thought so..It's actually a 2006 grand prix. He's a big GM guy and has been giving me crap about having a mustang. I was just curious if i could give it a run for its money. I better just keep my mouth shut.
Mod up.
Those Grand Prix are heavy bastards and it wouldn't take an insane amount of extra power to catch him. I would say 30-35HP and better geared you might take him. Do you have an auto or stick?

auto..I'm figuring on putting in a cai. I've been given "connections" to a few dual exhaust systems. Preferbly a corsa, but they're still almost a grand.
death wish. those GTPs are quick. even worse if its a 2 door.
They're not that quick. I whupped Jasmine's GT, so the GTP should merely be a close race.
It's a 500 lb heavier car + it's an auto that shifts really slow.
But then I have an 03 with the IMRC & windage tray . . . I've got 20 more ft/lbs than the 2000 models.
