Boy do I feel silly when ibought my 2004 anniv edition used I was told that it was crimson red however I was informed that it is in fact redfire metalic.After much searching I am unable to find my answer Please help me

I think crimson red is the right name. Why does it matter? Are you doing body work and you need to match paint?

Thank You And yeah it has some little scratches and the nose has little chips on it like the previous owner was driving behind a truck on a gravel road.When I go to get it pianted I want it to be correct it only had 9,000 miles on it when I got it so I want it to look new for as long as possible.

Not the VIN# per say, The data plate has all the info. I.E. Trim, axle, trans, etc...

Get the VIN from the VIN plate. You'll need to step out of the car and it's at the bottom of the windshield, driver's side.

If you scroll down there is apart where it says the different colors they made in 2004 for the stang and it says the crimson red is only on the 40th anniversary edition so most likely that is yours.

if you scroll all the way on the bottom and if u kno your color code it will tell u which one it is

If it is redfire it will be a G2. I might be wrong but I don't think crimson is metalic so if yours is it's probably redfire. If you look at mine on my profile that is redfire.
