Don't focus on HP numbers for LSD, it's meaningless -the breakaway torque is what's important. The hp number has more to do with axle strength.

Yeah, it'll hold together at 300 hp - but the torque number is when it will revert to open diff.

the Auburn has the highest breakaway torque number when I last checked.

wanting to save money on turbo. Everything out there is just too much for how much the parts are.
TIAL turbine housing A/R 8.1, 38mm Tial wastegate, Tial 50mm bov with flanges, 30"lx3"hx12"w intercooler w/ 3" o.d, oil breather tank and new oil feed lines and drain lines. I am just double checking myself that im not forgetting anything. I am almost positive all this will fit

in 2004 i bought the car from a friend of mine who had wanted to do everything to it from turbo to twin turbo, just wanted it to be something special I guess. The manifold that exists has roush components for the 4.6 roush but is 100% homemade, I believe. I could be wrong. If you suggest taking it out and starting from what would be alot greater for the turbo I am wanting to put in, Im listening. totally open for suggestions

Ill get pictures up tonight under my hood so you can get a visual. if it helps the roush serial number is 3925. not sure if that helps anything. How would I go about the manifold if infact I am wrong about what I have under my hood? There is a high possibility of that. I dont know much about manifolds.

I can't find an intake manifold for sale by roush. Are you talking about a cold air intake?

ROUSH Performance : - Product Catalog

If so, you probably can't use that with boost.

Yes! I was way off on that one. This thread is over. I set my mind on mods that Im going to do. Turbo, auto to 5-speed trany, LSD, performance plug wires, zex n2o, dyno tune w/chip, helix throttle body, lightened drive shaft and a high output pulley kit, ford racing gears 7.5" 4:10 ratio

If you're going to try dual power adders, you'd better step up to a forged rotating assembly & an 8.8" rear.

The helix is crap -doesn't do anything.

what throttle body would you suggest? There is a 75mm throttle body at roushperformance.com. the only thing is that I would have to do some maf recalibration. It looks like I will need to go for an 8.8". would you suggest going from 4.10 to 3.55:1 as well if I do the rear end 8.8"

That wouldn't fit your intake manifold -70mm is the largest, and you're going to have to machine the face to get it to fit.

so i should scratch that off and not worry about a throttle body? do you know if the ford racing 3.8L rotating assembly would get the job done for the moment? The n2o wont be installed for atleast 6 months so having just the turbo wont put that much stress on the pistons right now. i will only be running 4.4 psi and 93 pump gas for the time being until I get some more parts that will be mailed to me close to the end of may.
