330 ci, 5.4L DOHC.

Yes, they will fit just fine. You will need a cowl hood and custom headers.

I think the Cobra R 5.4 had some slightly different head work
I know that motor will fit into a v6 I have seen someone do it.

No, the cobra R had different heads, intake, cams and lower end completely.

All 5.4 4V's are identical in size.

It's just a taller version of the 4.6L, basically.

Probably wouldn't fit under the hood, but headers, hood, etc., from the 2000 Cobra R would work.

I think I said heads? Sorry I didn't mention everything, I was just emphasizing the difference between a Navigator and a Cobra R.

Yes all 5.4 4V's are the same size, otherwise they wouldn't all be 5.4 4V's

the question also was will a navigator v8 fit in a mustang, not what is the differemce between a navigator and a cobra R. The first sentence I made was just for humor, indicated by the > . The second sentence I said I know someone who put a 5.4 Cobra R motor in a v6, which according to you is the same size as the navigator motor, thus answering his question. So tell me where I was not being technical enough?

Is this a project you were thinking of for your stang or another stang?
The v6 with the Cobra R transplant that friend had was a fun car
He had to sell it though, too many speeding tickets
