Its ok to use After you waxed your car once or twice in the spring. Make sure you car is nicely washed, also it doesnt matter if you do it on a hott day or mild day thats whats nice about it but other then that it works pretty good as a shiner. Does no good on faded colors or scratches. I used it on my black
