Default 2001 Mustang V6 - New Look?

Hey, I guess I should be introducing myself first of all. My name is Tommy, I have a 2001 Mustang V6 Convertible (Automatic), I'm 17 and I just love cars. My car is Performance Red with the tan Convertible top.

OK, back to the subject:
I have been thinking about changing the stock look of my car for some time now, but I could never get it quite right. It was either 'too aggressive, no power', or just 'ugly'. Tell me what you guys think of this new combo, I really think I can enjoy it.

Stock 2001-2004 GT Hood (with scoop)
Stock 2001-2004 GT Side Scoops
Cobra Front Fascia (04 model)
Stock 2001 GT Rear Fascia (Fill it with black MUSTANG letters)
Lower it a little bit

This look should be nice and smooth, and still have a nice look to it. All I need now is to think of some new wheels to roll on. Any hints?

Welcome to the forum. Your plan sounds good to me and for the wheels I would go with torque thrust 2's. Hey! I did go with those..lol First shot is before dropping it but it shows the wheels. 2nd is after Ford C springs to get rid of the 4x4 look

I'm not sure the Cobra Fascia will work with the other components.

The 03/04 cobra hoods are shorter, and the fascia is taller & shaped differently.

Also, anyone have any ideas on those rims? I don't want any chrome wheels on my car, I'm looking at gunmetal/black. Only talk about the rims if its constructive criticism.

replica most likely, they are cheaper and still look nice.I'm not concerned about weight because I don't race, not show only because its my daily driver.

surprise me, I've been looking for things and still haven't found a thing

If you have problems with the cobra bumper I would recommend the roush stage 3 bumper. For wheels I would say torque thrust, saleen, or cobra replicas. Those are the best looking imo.
