I have a 1994 mustang convt 3.8l. I am trying to bypass the amps in my car for a new sound system. I have found an amp under my dash but I have been hearing that there is a second amp somewhere in the car. Is this true? Where is it? If there is a second amp then what does it power?

I believe the GT has an amp under the dash and 2 subs in the back, while the 3.8 has only the factory radio amp and no subs... No extra amps that i know of.

No, if you'v egot the MACH 460 option or better, it's the same system as the GT. Beginning in 1999(?)
I had the mach in mine -but I junked it (actually I sold it on e-bay)
