Default What's your Favorite Mustang of all time?

Hi... I reckon this is an interesting topic, getting a little insight into our fellow-forum members' tastes!

Be cool if everyone could post their favorite Mustang of all time here...be it a sixer or eight-banger...all models from '64 to '07...

Doesn't have to be stock Mustang, could be for example Saleen, Kenny Brown, Roush etc...
--------------------------------------------------------------------

Alright first up:

Mine's just gotta be the '95 Saleen SR-351...480bhp, 186mph...
Wish i could get hold of 1!

1969 Mach I 428. Black with Gold stripes and rocker panels. Awesome car all around and that engine could really roar!

I have to vote for the 1999 through 2004. They were the ones that had the most advanced design, before Ford ran out of ideas and went back to the sixties with the retro design. I hope I'm not hurting anybodys feelings.

I would have to agree with that...99-04 Stangs I think are probably the best when it comes to design...I remember when they first came out, I wanted one so bad. Before then I wasn't all too impressed with the Mustang models. Actually wasn't all too impresses with the 05-07 models but they grew on me fast...Now I want one!

I agree, I would rather have a 03-04 Cobra then an 07 GT-500. To me the old cobras held more potenial for overall performance. But as far as looks go I think the the new Saleen S-281 convertable's are absolutely jaw dropping.

In my opinion there's nothing tougher looking or sweeter sounding than the '67 Shelby GT 500, yes stereotypically Eleanor is my dream car.

I have to say the 1969 Mach 1 and the Boss 429 are my favorite.

Aside from the rims, I'd have to say the Shelby CS6 looks much more like a shelby than the new GT 500s. The hood the CS6 shares with the Hertz Edition Shelby is absolutely gorgeous.

Next to the original 64 1/2, my favorites are the 94-98 models, especially the convertibles. I don't like the 99-04 models at all, and the current Mustangs are OK.
