Hi Guys,
Just got home from my favorite mechanic's shop and got some disappointing news, kinda. I was asking him about a $ amount to do my rear end work and just mentioned a port polish and intake spacer and he lifted the hood. Through basic conversation we established 2 things :
1 - He will cut me a good deal on labor if i have all of the work done at his shop (which I planned on anyway) and
2 - The guy at the transmission shop I asked about doing the rear end work did not know what he was talking about and all of my pulleys are OEM stuff lol !

Just a minor set-back for me but hey ! That still leaves that much more room for improvement

I'm a little confused here, please help. Are you looking for advice on something or just making a general statement?

Just a general statement. The guy at the transmission shop claimed to be a bigtime Mustang buff and asked if he could check out my car so I let him. He seems to be right on everything else he told me about my car, he was just way off base to tell me I already had the pulley system installed. But granted, I will NOT be returning to him in the future lol.
