Well, I ordered some Flow Masters and had the muffler shop order the pipes...I am installing a true dual exhaust system in my 1997 V6. I am very excited about this and wnted to share with the group. I found a company that has private label Flow Master knock-off for only $27.99 each so I saved a fortune on the mufflers. The muffler shop will have the pipes, chrome extensions and the labor for $260 which seems fair to me. I will keep the group posted
a little over a year ago i had a true dual exhaust put on my 99 v6.. they supplied the flow masters and did all the pipe as well as welding on my dual tips..
That was my first mod after getting my sixer back in 01. It makes your car sound so much nicer! I paid about $300 for Flowmaster 40 Series catback and about $90 installed but the salty roads here in Wisconsin made a nice rusty hole in one of them.

I couldn't stand the thought of driving my car in the salt of Vermont roads so I parked it for 6 months.....
Not too bad on the salt up here... Heck, they don't even plow southbound on I91... Just northbound to get the skiiers up here!
The winters are pretty long up here, but my pony made it through OK.
Are you from Kentucky or Vermont?
Or both?
Need to get some stangs together up here...
Kinda lonely.

It was my only car at the time so I really didn't have a choice but I've gotten a nice 1990 Dodge colt since then: 88 RWHP bitches!!! Been thinking about putting a turbo on that beast and really tearing up the roads!

But we don't get earthquakes, smog, or illegal aliens.

I moved to Kentucky a few months' ago. I lived along the border of Canada. My Son shine1stang is moving down next month too.
That's quite a change.
How are you liking it?

Awesome!!!!!! We have about 7 serious Mustang guys around here, and there's always something going on at our shop including BBQ's just about every night. You never know how many are going to show up for dinner, but they always chip in for food and beverages. The shop pictures are somewhere in the talk threads. We have a several tracks within an hours drive, and the biggest one is Bowling Green where the NMRA's are being held in October.
