I'm thinking about getting them for the front and rear in black and red. It looks like it fits well in the picture and I've seen pics of other cars in other forums with them on but not any mustangs. Anyone have a set and could you tell me how it fits? New seats are too expensive and I think the two tone would look really nice.

Holy crap Dude! That's expensive!!!!! I paid $274.99 shipped for both leather racing seats with the 4 point harnesses!!!!! Race seats will lighten up your car, and they look cool..... K2 motors on Ebay. I got the JDM R1 seats for the GT. They're not those uncomfortable flat-bottom seats either. They're the Recaro style buckets.
alright...I took a look a them..but I don't know. How was the install? I really like the look of the seat covers though. And what would I do about the rear seats? I'm all about being consistent and having everything *flow*

The install was pretty easy. I took my sliders off my stock seats and used them rather than using the ones they supplied. But that was on my '86. The only mod I had to do was drill a hole to accomodate the shorter bolt span of the slider on the seats. Most have to have someone fab it, but it just worked well on mine.
I can see what you're saying about having your interior flow. Mine was a total rehab job, so I had lots of options. The before and after pics are in here somewhere.
I've read horror stories in other forums about recaro and sparco seats being a nightmare to put in too...That's kind of why I'm staying away from the whole racing seat thing. They look badass but...they're damn expensive and apparently a PITA to install.
I'll go with the no-brainer seat covers...remember, Ima Kolledge studint i'm just worried that they might not hug the seat like they claim

they look nice, if they work out well, i may get some for my car, since i dont like the cloth seat pattern in my car(not to mention the stains on the seats!)

As soon as I'm done with the exhaust mod on my mustang I'm moving to renovate the interior.
I'm buying 2 Corbeau Forza Racing Seats (Microsuede) and a rear seat delete kit. I love the way racing seats feel in cars, stock seats throw you all over the place because there's no support for lateral G-Forces that's why I want the racing seats. I don't know if I want to go with a racing harness though, that's a little much....
oh and the reason why I chose Corbeau is because Corbeau made a specially designed seat for the 2000 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra R so they know what they're doing.
Let me know what you think, but, in my opinion if you're going to go through the trouble just to get seat COVERS for $350. Get a Corbeau, they're top of the line seats and they're relatively cheaper than any other brand, AND they've been used in a factory mustang! (Cobra R).
Ideally that's what I would do, but I would *like* to be able to cart more than one person around at times...even though it really weighs down my car. Maybe once a get another car more suited to hauling people around I'll get a rear seat delete kit and some racing seats. But for now, I just want some nicer looking seats. The cloths ones are looking really outdated and old and nasty.

Still if you're looking for some good seats Corbeau is the way to go! Don't waste your money on just wrapping your seat in a cover that's ridiculous. Just get a pair of seats that match the interior or what you're going to have the interior look like and then eventually get that rear seat delete. Trust me, you'll be thanking me for directing you away from seat covers, they're a pain in the a$$, and it's just easier to install a seat that is much better suited and comfortable for your needs.
I'd also like to add this rear seat delete kit. It'll save you 35lbs, but at the same time it can still be used as a seat. This is probably the one I'm getting, I mean it may not be comfortable for the people in the back seat, but hey when has it ever been comfortable for someone in the backseat of a mustang haha

Dude, you cannot use those as seats. There are no seatbelt holes in the middle for it......
I paid $274.99 delivered for both seats and harnesses. Racing seats and regular seatbelts look tacky. I use my harnesses when I take it to the track for extra safety.

whoever said that you'd be using seatbelts??? lol, but seriously it IS possible to use it as a seat, you just won't have any seat belts.
As for the racing harness vs. stock seatbelt, I think it looks absolutely ridiculous in a street vehicle to have a racing harness. Makes me think of Fast and the Furious or better yet any ricer type of thing. But that's my opinion, but, I have never seen a racing harness in a street mustang which also makes me think....
Those seats look damn nice...but they're like at least $300 a seat, plus shipping plus rear eat delete...making the grand total to about $900!!! I would rather put that money towards a stroked V6. Personally I'd rather have more go than show. they do look damn nice though.
