Many exotics can be raced and beat by modified cars of hugely lesser value (our mustangs for example). Would you rather own a $250,000 exotic (any kind) or $250,000 spending money for your mustang or any other car? street legal, racing or otherwise.

dang i would def use that money on my car and make the garage of my dreams!.. i would max out my car with mods so i got a dominatin v6 and then get a new GT500 n top it off with a 67 shelby then just keep the rest of the money for what i want

Modded!!!! Ya it would be nice to have an exotic car, but to make the car the way you want it and to have the power that you want it to makes it that much better

the ford GT is thing of beauty. But stock runs 11.5 in the 1/4, And with a price tag of 150k+. Seems like alot of money to pay. Now take one of our 6s and drop 20k into it and we have a car that will perform better in the 1/4. And still have the streetability that we all want.
Yes it has a top speed of like 200mph and does 0-60 in like 3.3. I can tell you this though, not ANY places around here i can run 200mph.
But worth all the money? IDK
However when you have the money i guess it doesnt really matter. I may be thinkin too practical. lol

That what I'm talking about. Do you get the car because of the *status* that it gets you? Think about this...if you're driving down the street with a Saleen S7 as opposed to a mustang...don't you think you'd feel like the sh!t? You'd def. turn a whole lot more heads in the Saleen than in the mustang. Plus the Saleen is one hella fast ride! I personally would go with something more exotic....cuz that way you don't get punks trying to take you at a red light, instead you refuse to let them admire your machine as you speed away.

as far as turning heads, the s7 will be sufficient. Heck to enthusiasts the ford GT will make you stop and look.
Im thinkin of exotic as being Lambos, and really high end foreign cars like that. Even if i was rich i dont like i would buy them as much as just want the opportunity to drive them. HEHE

I'd go for the exotic (by exotic I mean performance wise.) Matching those cars running in a straight line is one thing, being able to run fast and handle is another thing all together.
My ideal exotic would have to be the Ferrari 599GTB Fiorano. A front-engine Ferrari with beautiful styling and perfect handling? Yes, please.
However, an unlimited budget is obviously ideal for any modded 'stang. I'd put in top-quality suspension options, twin-turbo (v6 or v8) a sweet cam and the whole kenny brown chassis kit, among other changes. IRS would be a must-have.
wouldn`t be able to afford the insurance on the exotic ! So mod the six I would . In fact both of them would get new toys !
