i just bought a 1986 v6 mustang with t-tops. the car is rough and and in need of some tlc. the body is as straight as a pin with only one small rust spot, the interior how ever faded is still there, and the v6 motor runs as well as can be expected from a 1986 ford. my problem is that this will be my first ford to build. i have pretty much an unlimited supply of parts available to me, due to scrapyards and classic car part houses, but i have no idea what parts will perform best on my 3.8. although the 302 motor swap would give me the initial power increase that i am looking for, i would really like to give my 3.8 a chance to dazzle me and all of the people who rag on it for being a v6. i have seen sevral races were the v6 dominated the track, and i would like nothing more than to have that kind of power and still sport the 3.8 badge. i have been thinking of using the ford supercoupe supercharger but i have no knowledge of its compatibility, and or any damage it may cause. if anyone has any information please let me know. also i would welcome any ideas to enhance the performance of my 3.8
thanks to all who reply
