Question Where to buy V6 Duel Exhaust system from?

So for the past couple of weeks my project has been to get a new duel exhaust system. I went by my shops and they quoted me $50 bucks to cut out the V6 Bumper, and i was quoted 60-80 to install my PYPES V6 Duel Exhaust system. My final problem is who to order the system through. I REALLY want a Violator muffler instad of the street-pro, but it is not a MUST have.

Here is my problem...I could order the system from RPMoutlet for the low price of $400 (With Shipping and Violator included). Many people have told me NOT to order from RPMoutlet though because of their reliability (Ship wrong parts, take forever on shipping, general problems).

On the other side of the story...I could order directly from Pypes, not get the violator muffler...Pay $450 (i dont know if shipping is included in price). With Pypes, i know i would get the right stuff and not have to worry about it.

Any help would be GREAT!

Have you searched through the AFM store on Amazon? There's a HUGE variety of parts there, I've never searched through V6 parts so I'm not positive it'll have what you want, but it's worth a look.

So you're just like me eh? I've got the Pypes violators and LOVE THEM. I bought mine from brenspeed, it was too good of a deal to pass up. They have an ebay account and I got mine for $50 total. But since you have the '05+ mustang the two mufflers cost $190-$240 shipped depending on if you go with polished or not. Good luck and you'll absolutely love the mufflers they're unbelieveable!!!

If you buy from them, mention my name please!

Ya...i checked out Ebay and they didnt seem to have THE PYPES SYSTEM that included the violator mufflers for the V6. I am starting to get the feeling that the only people that do it is RPMoutlet...but i dont wanna order from them. Has anyone actually had a pleasent experience with RPMoutlet?

what's the point of buying the whole system if you're getting it installed by a muffler shop??? Normally they can custom fabricate you the pipes that you need for much cheaper than the pipes that you can buy. If they don't/can't fabricate them themselves, I would suggest going elsewhere, because it's much cheaper than to buy directly from the manufacturer or a distributor (RPMOutlet). Just buy the mufflers and have the muffler shop fabricate the pipes, that's what I did and the car is just as powerful for a cheaper price.

Everybody who had a problem with RPM-Outlet did an internet order. If you go with them, order by phone. They are separate operations, and their web order operation is buggy.

Make sure you get stainless steel - aluminized steel is crap.

Alrighty, that makes me SOOO much happier. i guess whenever i get my debit card from the bank i will just call and place my order over the phone. As far as i know i can ONLY order a stainless steel package. There isnt an option for aluminized pypes.
I already went by my exhaust shop, and told them that i was gonna have the system shipped to them. i dont wanna throw my exhaust shop a curve ball. I am perfectly fine paying what i am for it though. The system is just gonna fit in perfectly and it will be convenient for all parties.
