Default KONI Adjustable Suspension Package for 2000 Mustang V6

Hi all,
I am looking at a suspension kit from v6mustangstuff.com made by KONI. I have a few questions before i go ahead and order the kit.

1. Will this kit lower my car? I am looking for a 1.5"-2" overall drop.

2. will my car still be driveable? The kit is described as "Sport". Generally to me that means slightly more aggressive than stock but still livable for day to day driving.
If you want to take a look here's the link:
V6 Mustang Stuff

It is at the top right. They don't have the greatest site but the service is outstanding.

The springs lower the car, not the shocks.

That setup includes springs by Koni, which I believe he knows is what will lower the car.

BTW, struts and shocks when bad can lower curb height.

yeah, yeah, when bad.

Always precision with you.

"when all components are in good working condition, the springs determine ride height, not the shocks -and you should match the shocks to the spring height - when lowering the car, you may have to use 97-93 shocks and struts to match the lowered ride height."

Does the above statement pass the Kwondi test?

Exactly, otherwise sh!t will never be right. Tonight, when I put an LS3 together, i'll make sure to not measure any clearances, don't want to be too precise.

Psst, change the 97 to an 87, and then you'll be good to go

I am aware that springs, not struts, lower the car. I just wanted to know if this full suspension kit would lower my car at all. It doesnt seem to specify in the blurb about it. Thanks for your responses guys, i decided to order it either way.

If you get the shocks with a 1.5" drop, they will suffer premature failure unless you match springs, and the shocks alone won't drop the ride height, unless your springs are shot.

You'll also need a set of cam bolts, so you can dial the camber in on the alignment rack. The stock plates allow for little adjustment, and even when you drill out the pop rivets on the plates, it's still not enough.

You can also purchase CC plates, but I'd save your money and get a set of $20 cam bolts from NAPA.
